What I do
Four services, done properly.
Book one on its own or combine them — most dogs come in for a bath and haircut with nails trimmed at the end.
Haircuts
Breed trim, teddy cut or "just tidy it up" — tell me what you want and how much upkeep you can realistically do at home.
Nail trims
Trimmed short and smoothed, one paw at a time. Fine as a quick stand-alone visit if that's all your dog needs.
De-shedding
For double coats that carpet your house. Bath, deep dry and undercoat work to pull out the loose hair before it lands on the couch.
Pricing depends on your dog's size, coat type and how matted or overdue the coat is. Send your dog's breed and weight when you request a time and I'll quote you before booking.
How it goes
A calm appointment, from drop-off to pick-up.
One dog is in the studio at a time. No barking row of kennels, no waiting around wet and bored.

You arrive at your time
Tell me what you'd like, anything that makes your dog nervous, and any knots or skin spots I should know about.

Bath and full dry
We go at your dog's pace. If they need a breather between the tub and the table, they get one.

Haircut, nails, finishing
Same groomer the whole way through, so your dog isn't handed between strangers halfway.

Home right after
I'll let you know when we're wrapping up. No crate time waiting for a ride — dogs go home when they're done.

About the studio
Small on purpose.
Pawsh Studio is one groomer, one dog at a time, in Austin. I built it that way because a quiet room and an unhurried pace change how a dog behaves on the table.
Taking only small and medium dogs keeps the schedule honest — I'm not squeezing three groomings into the slot that belongs to yours. It also means I can remember your dog's coat, their quirks and how the last cut grew out.
If your dog has had a rough time at a busy shop before, say so when you book. We'll plan the visit around it.

How big is "small and medium"?
Think terriers, doodle-type dogs, spaniels, schnauzers, corgis, small mixed breeds. If you're unsure, call with your dog's breed and weight and I'll tell you straight away whether they're a fit. Large and giant breeds aren't something I take.
What does "no cages" actually mean?
Your dog isn't crated or kenneled at any point. They're with me in the room for the whole appointment, then they go home. It also means I can only work with one dog at a time, so appointments are spaced out.
My dog hates grooming. Can you still help?
Often, yes — the calm setup exists for exactly those dogs. Tell me what sets them off (dryers, nail clippers, being lifted) before we start and we'll work around it. If your dog is truly distressed, I'll stop rather than push through, and we'll talk about splitting the work over visits.
How long does an appointment take?
It depends on coat and temperament — a nail trim is quick, a full bath, dry and haircut on a thick coat takes considerably longer. I'll give you a realistic time estimate when you book so you can plan your day.
What does it cost?
Price is based on size, coat type and the condition the coat is in. Heavily matted coats take more time and more care, so they cost more. You'll get a number before anything is booked — no surprises at pick-up.
Can I get a same-week appointment?
Sometimes. With one dog at a time the calendar fills up, so book ahead when you can. Call or send a request with a couple of days that work for you and I'll match you to the first open slot.

Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, by appointment. Closed Sunday and Monday.
