Granules in the gutters
Dark grit washing out of downspouts means the shingle surface is being knocked loose. That layer is the roof's sunscreen.
Bruised or cracked shingles
Impact marks feel soft underfoot and split later. You usually can't see them from the yard — they show up on a walk of the slope.
Dented vents and flashing

Ironline Roofing is a residential roofing company based in Dallas, Texas. We handle hail and storm repair, full replacements, and the inspection and paperwork homeowners need when they file with their insurance company.
We stick to houses on purpose. Residential roofs, residential crews, residential timelines — a single-family roof is a different job from a warehouse, and we'd rather be good at one of them.
The inspection costs nothing, and you're not obligated to hire us afterward. If the report says your roof is fine, that's a perfectly good outcome.

Before you let anyone on your roof
Is the inspection actually free, or free until you find something?
Free. You get the photos and the findings whether or not you hire us, and there's no obligation to schedule work afterward.
Do you handle the insurance claim for me?
We do the roofing side: we inspect, photograph, measure and write up the damage in a form your carrier can work with. We don't decide claims and we can't promise how your insurer will rule — that's between you and them. What we can do is make sure the damage is properly documented rather than guessed at.
What if my roof turns out to be fine?
Then we tell you that, put it in the report, and you've lost nothing but an hour. We'd rather you call us back in three years than pay for a roof you didn't need.
Do I have to be home during the inspection?
For the exterior, no — we can inspect the roof, gutters and flashing without anyone inside. It helps if you're there when we go over the findings, and we do need access if you want the attic side checked for leaks.
How long does a replacement take?
It depends on the size of the roof, its pitch, how much decking needs replacing and the weather that week. We give you a schedule before we start rather than a guess on the phone, and we tell you if it slips.
Can you repair instead of replacing the whole roof?
Often, yes. If the damage is limited to a slope or a few sections and the rest of the roof has life left, repair is the sensible call. We'll show you the photos behind the recommendation either way.
Do you work on commercial buildings or apartments?
No. Ironline Roofing works on single-family homes only.
